A decent monitor is required to fully appreciate the latest video games. However, it is difficult to locate one that provides quality at a reasonable price.
Not all players need huge monitors - someone does not like to turn their heads in different directions and look for interface elements in the corners, someone does not have enough space on the table, and someone simply does not like to sit with their nose buried in the “TV”. The new 24-inch model from MSI - Optix G241 is designed for such an audience.

Design
The MSI Optix G241 looks strict and "compact" for a gaming machine, with a case constructed of black matte plastic (certain portions of the rear panel have a rough surface simulating brushed metal), no colorful inserts, and no illumination. The design is classic frameless; while turned off, the screen is framed only by a thin line of the case's side edge; when turned on, a little frame hidden beneath the protective cover shows. Their overall width on the sides and top is 6 mm.
The leg is metal, V-shaped, and its ends extend slightly beyond the screen's surface. It just allows you to vary the angle of the screen; there is no change in height or left and right rotations. The monitor can be mounted on the wall if desired; there is a VESA-compatible 100x100 mount on the back. All connectors are grouped together and angled downwards in a nook beneath the leg mount. There are two HDMI 1.4 ports, one DisplayPort 1.2 port, and a mini-jack for connecting headphones.

Price Per Performance
The Optix MSI G241series gaming monitor is a low-cost alternative for any demanding gamer who values performance. It has the same accessories as other monitors, such as RGB illumination and more durable table stands. In this price range, you may also acquire an excellent computer monitor. You can also go with the ViewSonic VX2405-P-MHD, which is priced and spec'd similarly to the G241.
Convenient to Use
You feel happy when you play. The monitor has sprung to life, and everything appears to be clearer to you. This is due to the monitor's 144 Hz ultra-fast refresh rate and 1 ms reaction time. What you're doing on the monitor is happening in real time to the thousandth degree. MSI Optix series gaming monitors provide a broader color gamut than standard displays. That is, it does not have to be this way. It has AMD's FreeSync, but it also works with Nvidia's G-Sync. If you have a specific graphics card brand, you can utilize this monitor regardless of what you purchase in the future.
Image Quality
The screen on this gaming monitor is excellent. It's quite large. It's razor-sharp. And the colors are correct. People appreciate it because it is suitable for video games and other activities that necessitate clear pictures, accurate color representation, and a wide color range.
This is due to the 128% sRGB color space coverage and 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage, which is more than enough for most video editors and graphic artists who need accurate color rendering. This monitor will make gaming more enjoyable. It is anti-flickering and emits less blue light. It is also the best strain monitor. One factor that could help us buy a better monitor is that it lacks HDR technology and only has a brightness of 250 nits. Many high-end displays already have this feature, but it will cost more than you might imagine.
MSI Optix G241 Brightness and High Dynamic Range
The high resolution enhances the appearance of game titles. The more frequent the refresh rate, the better. There will be no screen tearing or choppy frame rates if the response time is 1ms or below.
Conclusion
The MSI Optix G241 is a fantastic alternative for gamers searching for a compact gaming monitor with high performance. The IPS panel produces good image quality and vivid, saturated colors, while the rapid response time, 144Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync support are useful in fast-paced games.
MSI has done an amazing job of designing a display that meets the requirements of every gamer. It's ideal for gamers that wish to play 1080p games without lag or visual distortion.
