Extreme Gaming Layout
Sporting an 8-layer server-grade 2 oz thickened copper design, the ACE provides reliable electrical throughput with 24+1+1 Phases, Advanced SMT Process, and the OC Engine which ensures proper distribution when you enable overclocking settings. With one-second overclocking, you can easily boost performance by using MSI's Game Boost technology. Overvoltage protection prevents potential short-circuit damage to the CPU and other essential components while load-line calibration stabilizes CPU voltage under heavy loads to enhance performance.
Several additions streamline the installation process including a pre-installed I/O shield which makes it easier to install the ACE into your case while also adding a sense of style to your setup. Magnetic and screwless M.2 slots make it easy to install your SSDs by swapping out screws for magnetic holders and clips.
Onboard Enhancements
Providing gaming enthusiasts with a strong foundation, the ACE offers a wide range of performance enhancements for internal components and peripherals alike. Four DDR5 RAM slots allow you to install up to 128GB of memory for greater multitasking efficiency. Six SATA III and five M.2 interfaces allow you to download and save your library of games. Three expansion slots allow you to install a wide range of graphic and utility cards with one PCIe 5.0 x16, one PCIe 5.0 x16 (in x8 mode), and one PCIe 4.0 x16 (in x4 mode) slot featuring MSI's Steel Slot technology to help withstand the weight of heavy cards.
Built-In Cooling Capabilities
Ensure your system remains cool at heavy loads with a wide range of improvements located throughout the ACE. Fin Array Design with 7W/mK Thermal Pad and Direct Touch Cross Heat-Pipe work together to keep your MOSFETS and VRM components cool. An enlarged PCH heat sink works in conjunction with the double-sided M.2 Shield Frozr heat sinks to dissipate heat efficiently, preventing thermal throttling, optimizing your SSD's performance. Additionally, an aluminum backplate also cools down the MOSFETs while protecting the back side of the motherboard.
Enhanced Connectivity Options
The back panel of the ACE gives you seven USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, allowing you to connect a wide range of peripherals such as keyboards and mice. Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports deliver up to 40 Gb/s data transfer speeds as well as Power Delivery and DisplayPort video capabilities, allowing you to support resource-demanding devices such as external storage arrays, displays, and more. Dual 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports enable teaming functionality for greater speeds, ideal for competitive online matches. You also have Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) wireless technology for a cable-free networking experience.
